Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
In short: your PDFs are opened, edited and saved entirely in your own browser. They are never uploaded, and we never see them. We don't use accounts or analytics. Any ads on this site come from Google, which may use cookies as described below.
Your files
When you open a PDF, it is read and edited by code running on your device. Your file, and anything you add to it (text, signatures, images, drawings), is never sent to us or to anyone else. When you download, the edited copy is created on your device. Nothing is kept once you close the tab.
What is stored on your device
The editor remembers one setting in your browser's local storage: the width of the pages panel. It contains no personal information. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. We do not set cookies ourselves.
Information collected when you visit
There are no accounts and no analytics. Like almost every website, our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for a limited time, to keep the site secure and working. We don't use these logs to identify you.
Advertising
To keep the editor free, pages on this site may show ads from Google AdSense. Ads are shown beside the editor, never inside your document, and ad providers can't see your files.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
- If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for your consent before cookies are used for personalized ads, and you can change your choice at any time.
To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices and rights
Because we don't collect your files or keep personal information about you, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. For data held by Google for advertising, use the Google links above. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
